I’m sure you’ve heard that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, well did you also know that if you’re trying to eat healthy, lose weight or just feel more energized then you could just change your breakfast habits.
Personally I think everyone should do the 30 Days to Healthy Living Program that Arbonne offers as it is amazing, however not everyone feels that they can follow this plan for 30 days which is why the Breakfast Club was formed.
What is the Breakfast Club?
The Breakfast Club started as a Facebook group to help people over December. The idea was to be good in the morning – breakfast – and hopefully not put on too much weight, if any over the holidays. Some of us actually lost weight, others maintained their weight and a few put some on, but not as much as they thought they would!
The first thing we do is we have a digestion plus every morning as this contains prebiotics, probiotics and digestive enzymes to help our bodies break down our food correctly and keep the bad bacteria in our gut to containable numbers.
The second thing we do is to have a protein shake for breakfast, this ensures we give our bodies some good nutrition to start the day – we use a vegan protein powder as protein is essential to good health (and also helps you to feel full for longer), we also add a scoop of fiber to the shake and fruits or veg to your liking. We offer lots of recipes to really mix things up!
I also recommend taking the Green Ogre Drink – some people take this and some don’t. Personally I won’t be without it now as it really gives me an energy boost.
I also recommend Arbonne’s herbal detox tea which gently helps to support your elimination organs.
Obviously it’s great if you can be mindful of what you’re eating later in the day, but by setting yourself up nutritionally well at the start of the day it helps your body cope with any over-indulgences later in the day.
